USERS CAN USE IMESSAGE ON WINDOWS 11 OPERATING SYSTEM COMPUTERS
So what is iMessage?

Microsoft also said that making this change does not require intervention from Apple because data transmission between Windows 11 computers and Apple devices only uses Bluetooth.
Because it’s only testing on the app, Microsoft says it may be limited but users can still send and receive messages, make calls and view contacts via iMessage. The limitation here is that users cannot message in groups, send photos/videos files and cannot see any previous conversation history of users. Although Phone Link cannot share photos, there will be iCloud Photos on Windows 11.
According to a source from Yusuf Mehdi: Messages sent from Phone Link appear as iMessages like on iPhone. Phone Link cannot load message history, only displays sent/received messages during use of the app. With Phone Link app, messages sent will not display green or blue bubbles so they are not distinguished like Android system.
The fact that Apple uses iMessage, the company’s exclusive messaging feature, can cause division between iOS and Android users. Phones from other brands cannot use iMessage, if Android users join a group message of iOS users, all messages will turn green.
